Word of Life Evangelical Church is an interdenominational, multi-racial, multi-generational church. Our name comes from Philippians 2:16, "holding fast the Word of Life." Word of Life offers a blend of contemporary and traditional worship, a strong emphasis on Bible teaching and preaching, a loving Christian family, and opportunities for missions and service.

Word of Life Church upholds our commission to serve Christ, and spread His gospel, by working with other local churches in the community through the Bedford County Ministerial Association, by supporting and working with many local missions organizations, by supporting missionaries in three countries and many other world missions organizations, and through a Sister Churches Project with to seven churches in Chile, South America.

Scriptual Warnings: part III

Do we take head to what the Word of God tells us. Not everything that is writtne is to lift us up or encourage when we are down. The Bible offers us wisdom to avoid those moments to begin with, even more so it warns us of areas and things we need to actively avoid in order to live according to the new life in Christ we so long for. Pastor David goes over some of these warning illuminating scriptural adivce in the warnings it lays out.
